Ok ok so, im just gonna dump everything i like hopefully i organise this well enough,,

Eraserhead

I promise im not trying to sound edgy when i say this is a comfort film for me. David Lynch is my fav director (and creative in general) in the entire world!! Because he makes things with such a beautiful philosphy of treating art as a dream. When you experience a dream that affects you in such a way that you MUST tell someone else.. you can never ever get that person to truly experience what you did with just language alone. Bc theres just so much abstract feeling. And so Lynch uses cinema as a language itself in order to make you feel these strange unwritable feelings. You just feel them. It's weird and its awesome.
